TantRum Overview
You'll enjoy constant bent-rod action aboard the TantRum, a newly-restored and upgraded twenty eight foot California Sportfisher. This charter boat has been fully customized and outfitted with state-of-the-art electronic equipment and fishing gear. The TantRum also has a brand spanking new engine, a 315-horsepower Cummins diesel. This 28-foot craft has the power needed to cut down on travel time so clients can spend more of their charter time fishing. This top-notch charter boat sports two fighting chairs, so be prepared to strap in for a challenging fight with a feisty pelagic like a Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi , or variety of Tuna. There is also plenty of room on deck to stand and fight those trophy catches.
The professional captain and mate of the TantRum will utilize their extensive experience to guide you and your party to the best fishing locations off Los Cabos. Our charter fishing personnel are completely licensed by the Mexican authorities. Beginning anglers as well as experienced fishermen will benefit from the local expertise of the TantRum's bilingual crew.
You will also benefit from utilizing our Penn International and Shimano reels, rods, and custom lures. We also provide the best live bait that the big fish crave.
Whether you prefer trolling the deep water of the Pacific Ocean for Marlin or reef fishing with a light tackle setup for jack or grouper, the TantRum's crew will lead you to the prime spots, depending on the weather conditions, season, and currents.

Tour Notes
- Price covers up to 4 anglers
- Fish cleaning – we will freeze your catch but we strictly adhere to the rules set forth by the governing authorities. We are sometimes required to bring clients and their fish to the Sportfishing Dock's filet station
- Cleaning fee depends on the size of the fish. A few dollars is typical for a small fish and larger fish are charged accordingly
- The fees and protocol change from time to time so please be understanding.
- Please be advised that if you take your fish to the weigh station for hanging and/or a photo you will incur an additional out-of-pocket expense of approximately $20 USD
- Gratuities are customary for all services both on and off shore
