Eagle Divers Discover Scuba Course Overview
Our Discover Scuba Course allows uncertified participants to dive below the surface of the Sea of Cortez. You can discover the intriguing world a teeming coral garden. You do not even need to spend the extensive time and large amount of money to become fully certified. On this instructional program, you will begin the day in the classroom for instruction before hitting the pool to familiarize yourself with the diving apparatus. During orientation, you will watch a half hour instructional DVD on the elementary techniques and safety procedures that are essential to scuba diving. Then after a short lecture, and a question and answer session, it will be time for confined water exercises in the pool or shallow cove. You will learn how to breathe through your respirator and maneuver underwater while wearing your equipment. By the afternoon, you will be diving in open water at a fabulous coral reef under the watchful eye of our experienced professional dive-master.
Even if you have never scuba dived before you touched down in Cabo San Lucas, you will be diving below the surface of the Sea of Cortez on an open water dive in only one day's time. After your pool exercise, you will then board one of our fully-customized dive vessels with your knowledgeable instructor to head to a fantastic dive spot with an amazing coral reef in the Sea of Cortez. You can dive to a depth of forty feet while exploring a teeming coral garden bustling with tropical fish.
