Horseback Riding Hills and Beach Tour Overview

This exciting guided horseback riding adventure transports riders to two fantastic areas of Los Cabos: the pristine stretches of sand along the shores of the Sea of Cortez and the hills in the desert interior of the Baja outback. Riders of every experience level can participate on this excursion. Even children as young as four can join us for this amazing trail ride. Our horseback riding excursions are great outings for the entire family. Our horse trainers and trail guides are extremely patient and highly skilled. All of our horses are all expertly trained; each rider will receive a mount horse that suits their ability. Before departing, every participant will receive a quick riding lesson and some time to become acclimated to their mount. If you would like to see the natural splendor of Los Cabos, horseback riding is the most pleasant method.

After a brief period of orientation and riding lessons, you will begin this tour by riding from our ranch to the coast of the Sea of Cortez where you will ride along a pristine stretch of beach. This stretch of shoreline between downtown Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo is a portion of the Golden Resort Corridor.  The panoramic seascape of this area includes splendid coves and granite formations. There is not a more serene and relaxing method of discovering this amazing coastline than on horseback. From the beach, our guided tour will head inland to climb the hill of Cabo Real for a better view of the whole region. You will have a more comprehensive view of the whole region, including the Sea of Cortez and the rugged Baja outback.

Our ranch and riding tours were founded by Francisco J. Barrena, a master horseman with almost four decades of professional riding experience. Francisco is a master showman, highly skilled in performing remarkable tricks with his steeds. Francisco established this remarkable equestrian compound almost two decades ago. He has an unsurpassed dedication to equestrian sports and truly enjoys sharing his passion with visitors to Cabo San Lucas.
