Parasailing Expedition

Your blood will really get pumping on this exhilarating parasailing expedition high above the gorgeous waters of the Sea of Cortez. The panoramic view from a vantage point more than two hundred yards in the air has to be seen to be believed. Youll be astounded at the remarkable sights in this region. You can see how the tip of the Baja Peninsula extends south past Cabo San Lucas to the point at Lands End where the iconic symbol of the region, the Arch, sits. Youll be able to gaze over Lands end to the Pacific Ocean. Past the Cabo Marina downtown, you can see the winding boulevards of the vacation town of Cabo San Lucas. The vast stretches of pristine beaches and emerald golf courses can be seen along the Golden Resort Corridor that leads to the sleepy colonial town of San Jose del Cabo. You can also see the expansive desert landscape of Baja with the foothills of the Sierra Madres in the distance.

Depending on the time of year, you may also have an excellent vantage point to view Gray Whales from above. Every winter, from January through March, these massive mammals venture from chilly climes to the warm pleasant waters off the coast of Mexico. Gray whales have a tendency for staying closer to shore than other whales, and prefer to nurse their calves in sheltered coves. From you birds eye view while parasailing, you may spot a mother with her offspring in one of the bays on the Sea of Cortez.

Of course, parasailing is much more than a method of sightseeing; soaring high above the water is a thrilling ride that surpasses any found in an amusement park.
